new jersey here....
i was sitting at a red light and i was rearended. the man jumped out of his car and immediately claimed his brakes didnt work. my father in law took pictures, and the pictures show his car went under my van. i was told that the reason for this is he braked at the last minute. i am positive that he was on his cell phone- i am planning suing this person, and my questions are...
will this go in front of a jury and judge?
will his claiming brake failure create a problem in my lawsuit? (such as payment of medical bills (i was injured-seeing a chiropractor)and money i sue for)
i am a part-time school bus driver. since this accident i get freaked out really easy about the way people drive around me and get scared about getting hit again. should this be part of my lawsuit and do i need to see a psychologist and will that bill be paid too?)
how long does a case like this take to settle?
i want some general knowledge before i go thru the lawsuit, and some of the lawyers i spoke with seemed like they gave me a runaround-any held would be appreciated....
