I got rear-ended by a lady insured by State Farm.. The current repair bill for my truck is currently $18000 and they have'nt even taken anything apart.. The estimate includes putting a new frame under my truck with a complete new bed assembly.. All of this sounds pretty good until you realize that I was about to trade my truck for a new 08' and I was told by the dealer today that if I tried to trade after the frame replacement I would get maybe mid $20's for my truck that without the frame damage history would be mid $30's for trade.. Do I have any chance of getting true DV for my truck or getting them to total it???
