Rear ended while sitting still

i was invloved in a car accident last year in the state of georgia. the insurance company is allstate. i hired an attorney that i became dissatisfied with because of their negligence. i sent them a letter indicating my being dissatified, and wanted my fee that would be applied for their services suspended. they decided they no longer wanted to represent me. meanwhile, my final offer letter has already been rendered from the insurance company. can i settle with the adjuster on my own? will they try to change my offer amount now? i was told that the attorney's office may try ro put a lien on my settlement amount. if the insurance company isn't fair and trys to change their offer, can i sue the guy that hit me in small claims court?

Good news. The insurance adjuster contaced me without me having to call anyone. He had me to sign a release form assuring me I would get the money I deserve. I also went back and read my contract with the attorney. I learned that if they decided to withdraw, I wouldn't owe them any attorney fees. They're letter clearly indicates that they are withdrawing from representing me.

I'm a happy Camper. That's a whopping $4,000 in my favor. YeeeHahhh!
