What is the name of your state? California
On an earlier post I asked about the statute of limitations in CA for property damage on a vehilce less than $800, 3 years. I now have a written estimate for repair ($650) on the other persons vehicle that I rear ended. He is satisified with the repair shop and estimate and is willing to sign any release of liablity when I give a check for the estimatated amount.
Is there any legal jargon or code that I should reference in the statement releasing me of all liablilty for property damage, personal injury, insurance claims etc.??
