Rental Car Accident in NY state

i rented a car from dollar rental cars and i got into an accident in which damages amount to over 100 dollars. there is an addendum attached to the contract i signed stating that the most most money that i am liable to pay is 100 dollars but the owner of dollar does not agree. the addendum also states that it supersedes all conflicting statements in the rest of the contract. I was not intoxicated and i followed everything in the addendum. do i legally have the right to refuse a payment over 100 dollars?
