Maryland - On 6 April 2001, my 2001 auto was hit head on. So far damages have been estimated at $12K. My car was bought on 9 Mar 2001. At that time, I had not made the first car payment. My new car cost approx $23K. What are my options? I would definitely like a new car to replace the new damaged car. The driver who hit me was speeding and at fault and was served a citation. Thank You.

. . . and your insurance company has said what to you ?

P.S. Hopefully your car isn't a BMW Z-3, or they may only offer to use "Bondo" to fix it.
