My daughter's car is totaled. Should we go by nada price list to see what a fair price is for the insurance to offer? Someone told me to ask for that price plus the cost of tax, since I have to pay tax on a car to replace it. Does that seem right?

They will low-ball you but its up to you to get prices of comparable cars in your area to get what you really deserve.
