What is the name of your state? Hawaii
Last Saturday, while driving my 2002 Honda Gold Wing with the right-of-way, a driver hit me who had previously stopped at a stop sign at an "T" intersection, then shot out in my path. This other driver, and a vehicle illegally parked on the same street I was travelling (that the other driver said blocked his view) were deemed at fault and cited.
The other driver and I belong to the same insurance company. Does this fact raise a conflict of interest? How can my best interest and that of the other driver be properly served when we are represented by adjusters who fall under the same management umbrella?
