serious injury's in auto accident

What is the name of your state? tennessee

hello i was involved in a auto accident in may of 2004. i was a passenger in a truck that had wrecked when we went around a curve and the back of the truck hit grass and loss control and the i guess it cought traction and ended up sling shotting around and whent right threw a bobe wire fence. it was me and another guy in the back of the truck of a small pickup. we were in the back becouse we were at someones house and he ended up going nuts and we had to leave but i was woundering if anyone could tell me how much i could be compensated for the auto wreck. the driver did not have no insurance so my insurance company is paying for the medical bills and other treatment that i am getting like plastic surgrey and the medical flight in the helicopter from the auto accident. the guy that was in the back of the truck was killed from the bobe wire cutting into his neck. i am needing help becouse the insurance company said they will not pay the bills and settle with me intill i am released and i got collection against me like it isnt nothing becouse i am having a hard time finding a job and cant pay somthing on these bills. the insurance company also said that they will probly only pay between 500 to 2,000.00 for the injurys that i occured in the auto accident.
i have got pictures if that would help out at all. here are some of the injurys that had occured. bobe wire cut the inside of my mouth like hamburger , cut my neck, face, and righ arm all up, i got alot of scar tissue on my face from the bobe wire. they said surgery will take most of that off. i had about 30 stices in my lip and face area to keep it held together.
if there is anyone that can help me about maybe the compensation please do i am in need and dont realy know about getting a lawyer and trying to go after him becouse no insurance. should the insurance pay more out to me than just 2,000.00. i think they should i just dont know how to go around and do it. please help me
thanks

Start interviewing personal injury attorneys in your area. Meet with at least three of them. Then, sign with one of them.

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!

should i wait for the insurance company to settle with me or just talk to a lawyer and see what all they say. the insurance company said he will have to pay all the money back that they issue out to me for compensation.
