Hello, I am new to this format, let me tell you what has happened to me it all started this summer and I do not even know where to start to get this guy prosecuted. I have lost my job because of him and my only source of transportation, a 1990 cadillac deville, which was in good working order before he touched it. It all started in July 05 when I had broke up with him His name is Michael Holt ex-boyfriend. Anyway I had broke up with him about a month ago, he was abusive we have two small kids together, well to make a long story short he heldme and the kids hostage for more than 10 hrs about 8 of those in his car then he got under the hood of my car and started ripping wires off of my car so my car wouldn't start and threatning to kill me with his gun, he was an armed security off. Then when morning came he beat me in front of his mothers house . He finally let me go and when I went to the East St.louis pd the detective ,DET RIDDLE called me stupid, and said I was just like the other stupid girls that came in there and that I was going to go back to him and I had asked for an escort to get my daughter out of daycare and as he was listening to my story he said he had heard enough and he told a fellow officer to "Get Her Out Of Here". I didn't even get an escort to get my daughter out of daycare that night. THE second incident with the same guy my ex. Happened in August, I had got a restraining order by then, I had to pick up my kids after work again at night this time I had my new friend with me when I pulled in front of the daycare my ex came from out of nowhere and ordered me out of the car, I drove off and he chased me with his car and was cussing at me and said "I'mma ram that b**ch, and he rammed into the drivers of my car and drove off I went to the ESPD AGAIN AFTER THIS INCIDENT. I Filed an offical report with a det in OCT. But to this day no charges have been brought against my ex. and me and my 12mth old and two yr old are riding on the bus while my ex drives around in his car and the ESTLPD DO NOTHING AT ALL.TO THIS MAN. I have a wittness to the second incident where he did a hit and run on my car and they haven't even contacted him. what state do I sue him to get money for the damages to my car. I can't even work now because I was a security officer and I had to float arter the incident and I couldn't so I lost my job. PLEASE TELL ME WHERE TO START ON GETTING JUSTICE IN AN UNJUST SITUATION.
