My daughter (19 yrs old ) was in an auto accident with her boyfriend ( who went to jail for DUI or DWI , not sure which ) and had to go to the hospital because of this accident and now owes approx $1200.00 in medical bills . His insurance is taking care of the medical bills . She didnt have to miss work so she didnt have any lost wages . My question is , can we ask his insurance for more than the $1200.00 or is that all they are responsible for ?
