settlement ?

What is the name of your state? indiana
this is a quote from fejee (someone left with a crippling condition post accident deserves much more than 3X the meds. what are the exact nature of the injuries and how much in med bills to date?

you can make a written request to the OP's insurance company to divulge their insured's policy limits. if that insured gives them permission to reveal the limits, they will have to tell u. your health insurance carrier will no doubt assert a lien for med services but this can always be negotiated.

like the 425 year old judge said, the important thing is to get a lawyer....one who understands law, that iz?

good luck and best wishes for an xcellent recovery....health and money wise, that iz.)

my question is what a written request to the OP's insurance company to divulge their insured's policy limits. what does that mean. thanks

It means exactly what it implies: Write a letter and send it to the other party's insurance company and ask them for information related to the insurance they have, limits, etc.

That does not mean they will tell you anything, though.
