Shared Parenting

i need some help, i hope someone can answer this question. what is the difference between shared parenting, and joint custody. my ex right now pays childsupport, would that change? i'm from the state of ohio. we agree on pretty much everything when it comes to my son, there isn't really much we don't agree on. but i'm wondering will this make it easier for him to get custody of my son. i'm sure one day my son will go and live with his dad, because they are close. i'm just not sure if i want to do a shared parenting type deal. can someone please HELP!

you may want to check out one for the other forums that is related to child custody laws. I do not think you will get anywhere with this forum.
