i slipped & fell in a major supermarket in california. it was 7am, was raining & the floors appeared to have been recently waxed. it was early in the morning so there were no witnesses. the manager was not on the premises yet but an employee gave me the store phone# & suggested i call back after 9, which i did. i left the store & went to work but had to leave after i started to tighten up & hurt. i went to the doctor the next day & she gave me pain pills & muscle relaxers. she said i should feel fine in a few days but that the neck injury could linger for awhile. do i have legal recourse?
