Is there a statue limit on the amount of time a party has in which to submit a repair claim? What is the procedure if the $ amount is small and neither party wants to involve their insurance company? Is there a NY State release form?
In our case we have been begging the other party for a estimate of the minor scratch damage to no avail. ( Calls, visiting her, letters.) Our concern is that we could wake up to new damage that was not caused by the original fender scratch.
