Small pmts to Doctor Bill

Received some strong medicine for an ear infection. Went to ER and paid the bill after the visit. Was told this included the doctor bill. One month later, red'd a bill from out of state for the doctor. Have requested they forgive this bill as I live on a limited pension. My question is if they insist I pay and set up a pmt plan, will I have a collection agency bothering me if I feel I can only pay $10 a month. Any info will be appreciated.

If they agree to the payment plan then no collection agency should bother you. Once you default expect the calls to start coming.
