So confused so many questions

What is the name of your state? Illinois

I was involved in an accident two days ago. I was issued a citation for failing to yield when turning left to oncoming traffic. I had no insurance on my vehicle at the time. the street was two lanes each way and I was turning left crossing oncoming traffic the cars in each of the two lanes yielded for me and out of nowhere this car came out of the third lane (even though there were no dotted lines on the street to show this was even a lane because it is very small and tight) and he struck the right front of my vehicle. Should I contest that I was at fault for this accident? Is there any way to beat it? Also, should I just have the other driver get quotes for his car and pay for it before he files a claim with his insurance company? What is going to happen to my license? Please help!!! My driving record was crystal clear before this.

You will lose your license until you buy sr22 high risk expensive insurance.

Its time to change your life.....get rid of the car move to somewhere near a bus line, and save save save.

Or move back in with your parents.

This will cost you a lot more then you will ever expect.
