I live in texas. This past thursday I was on my way home on a road with no stop signs, driver on a crossing street with a stop sign pulled out right infront of me at the last second and I cliped her front bumper and went sliding. Im pretty much ok, my neck is a little sore and im bruised up and got a little road rash, but my bike is really messed up... I might be able to fix it but i am pretty sure an insurance company would total it.
Now for the really bad news - She droped her insurance back on jan 31 and I only have the minimum liability that doesnt cover uninsured drivers. She told me she has no money, but she was driving a new crystler 300m

. Also, shes the manager for the apartment complex that this happened out infront of and I believe she was working when it happened. Shes a pretty large woman and i was told by some of the bystanders that she often drives to the individual apartments when she needs to put up an eviction notice or whatever.
So my question - Is the company liable for her driving around on the clock without insurance? Also, is there a way i can find out if she has any assets before I waste my time sueing her?
