What is the name of your state? Ma
If you receive your 1st check from Social Security Disabilty and that check goes back retroactive for almost a year and you have been collecting long term disabilty from your comapny's disabilty policy, do you have to pay the long term disabilty company the money you recieved from SSD for the period of time you were receiving long term disabilty?

Thanks for the reply.
We don't have a policy handbook to look at. This was insurance that my husband's company purchased for him and they never supplied any indepth information on it. Are all long term disabilty policies different?

yes. contact the employer and get the name of the carrier. look at the disability checks your hubby received and see who was the payor.
