What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? SC
On April 7,09 a person went thru a stop sign and broadsided me totaling my car and giving me neck injuries.
Since then I have not received a dime from Workmans Comp., lost my job, have no income and am very depressed. My atty knows this and when I asked for a question session he gave me an appt. for 6 weeks from now.
Is this normal? I can understand him being busy, he works alone and not part of a firm, but 6 weeks to get some questions answered seems long especially when a person has no income and ready to throw in the towel.
Any comments will be appreciated. Thank you. |

| | | Lawyers move slowly. Never expect a lawyer to do ANYTHING quickly. That's just the way it is. If you want fast, do it yourself. But if you are seriously hurt, it's better to have it done RIGHT even if it's slower.

| | | My guess is he was on WC prior to the accident and now that he has 2 simultaneous injuries, WC doesn't want to keep paying. Another reason why a lawyer is needed.
