Statue of Limitation OH

I need to find out what the statue of limitation is for OH. I got sited for failure to yeild when a lady tried to beat the light and sped through the lane and ran into the right side of my car. This happened Jan. 3, 2002, and I just now get a letter from my insurance saying she wants $25k.
