What is the name of your state? California
I received a letter from the insurance company of the young man who rear-ended me last December, telling me that the statute of limitations has passed and that I will not be able to recover any of my expenses for this accident. Is this true? Do I have any recourse?

My response:

What is the EXACT date of the accident?

Did you sustain bodily injuries?

Did you sustain property damage?
