| T-Boned: Compensation? What is the name of your state? Washington.
On Saturday I was t-boned in the parking lot of a mall. The other driver was speeding and failed to yield to a stop sign. Good thing is she admitted to my insurance company that she is fully at fault. My question is, when dealing with the insurance company, what should I expect from them in terms of compensation? Obviously fixing my car, and medical damages. My stickler is wheels: I had custom wheels on the car and both wheels on the right side were ruined in the accident. Should I expect they will be compensated for the value, or will I have to settle for cheaper stock wheels? Also, does the policy the other driver have limit how much her insurance company will help me? What I'm saying is, is it possible the damages will exceed what her policy will pay for, even if it's her fault, and I will have to go to her to seek the rest? Thanks. |
