I'm taking a citation to court after being found responsible at the magistrate hearing. I was told by the magistrate that by taking the citation to court, it was like the hearing with the magistrate never happened. Does that mean that anything that was discussed in the hearing with the magistrate can not be used in the trial by both the prosecution and the defense?
