I just receive a letter from the State of New Jeresy. Notice of Intended Federal Offset, for taxes in 1991. Can they go back as far as 9 years? Does the Statue of Limitation apply? I appreciate any help concerning this matter.

If it is state taxes, you need to contact a tax attorney in your state to figure statute of limitations issues. Try attorneypages.com
