Taxi Accident Report

my wife and i were involved in a accident with a taxi the police showed up and took a report but did not ask us has passengers if we were okay or get our names or nothing there is a accident report at the police station but they won't give it to us has passengers of the cab in the back seat we should have a right to the report we talked with the officer who made the report and he was uncooperative with us i also was just discharged from the hospital after same day surgery and may have done further damage to my injury the driver of the taxi even charged us the full amount of the fare of $23.70 including the time of the accident i would think we have the right to get a copy of the report please help

You didnt request medical attention nor did you receive any at the time of the accident so you probably need an attorney to make any claim now or to get the accident report.And I dont think your entitled to it untill you file any claim.
