i was recently involved in a car accident about 2 and 1/2 weeks ago i gave my statement at the scene to the officer and i was not ticketed then later that week the police report was released and the officers offical statement said i was not at fault at all but my statement said that i was partially but i was told i would not be ticketed but now more than two weeks later i got a call from the officer with him saying he now wanted to ticket me can he do that?
it is very important because im am facing a serious suspension if he can
my main question is how long after an accident occurs can a ticket be issued?
