Automobile accident in Florida. I was ticketed for not yielding the right of way. Although, I had not yet turned and the other vehicle struck me head on the drivers side. Because I was in the turning lane, they assumed I had turned in front of her. The bad part is I found out I am uninsured, except for insurance the bank put on my car. I realize how terrible it is that I was uninsured, but wanted to know if I still have the right to contest the ticket. Because of no insurance, am I at fault anyhow? Thank you for your time on this issue.
