What is the name of your state? Georgia
Is there a time limit on how long an insurance company can take to send out settlement money???

I believe the answer is No, there is not set time. Most states require that the time be "reasonable." That means different things to different people. Two weeks, two months or longer depending on the circumstances.

If you have not done so already, call the insurance company and ask what the hold up is.

Good luck!
