I live in Indiana, my car was stolen and I was wondering if there is a legal time limit that the insurance company has to settle the claim. They said they are investagating it and could take up to 120 days maybe longer.

Call the Indiana state insurance department and ask. Are they at least paying for a temporary car? You insurance may require them to.
