We have been waiting for a settlement offer for our totalled work van and storage equipment from the at fault drivers insurance company for nine weeks after the accident. Yesterday, we received an offer that was extremely low. We have even asked our own insurance agent and he confirmed it, but was unable to assist other than with advice due to no collision in our policy. We countered the offer,but they won't budge. They sent a print out from CCC Valuescope. I did a search on them and they just settled a class action lawsuit last year for giving extremely low values to vehicles that were total losses. Has anyone else had this problem, if so, how did you handle it. We are just trying to get what is fair. We are speaking to a lawyer tomorrow. Thanks!What is the name of your state? |
