California-my brother traded in his car for another and totalled it while drunk. Although under influence the cause was a tire coming off and loss of control. The dealer was supposed to finance him through a bank but didnt due to intrest rate issues. They told him to keep the vehicle since it was a friday, come back monday and they would try financing elsewhere. He insured the vehicle through the salesmans wife with All-State. He totalled it sunday, was arrested a couple days then called the dealer. The salesman told him to try to get financed/loan with a bank and not mention the incident. Any advice would be helpfull. Also the dealer is in San Diego but the accident was in Tijuana. Thanks.

Get financed and not mention the accident? That's fraud, and your friend will be in even more trouble than he is already for the DUI.
