Towing Question...

I'm from Ontario, Canada, and I'm wondering in the winter if someone is stuck and I pull them out, for courtasy whther they give me money or not, and i brake something trying to do it, can they sue me for the damages?

Or would it be better just to get a waiver made up, so i get them to sign it before i pull them out???

Ahem... [any of the regular posters here]U.S. law questions only! [/any of the regular posters here] I figured I'd save you guys the time and trouble.

While it's courteous and commendable to want to help your fellow man/woman out of a jam, people are still people. In short, if you're worried about being sued, don't provide the help.
