What is the name of your state? Virginia

My daughter is a resident of Virginia. Three years ago she had an accident while driving a tractor-trailer in Connecticutt. Now her former employer & her are being sued by an insurance company in CT.

Does a CT court have jurisdiction in VA? Can she be forced to travel to CT to respond to this suit? Can she be held personally liable? Doesn't the trucking company's insurance cover cases like this?

She could be personally liable if she did something wrong.

If she had the accident in Connecticut, then that is where the jurisdiction is for this case.

She will have to go there.

Have her talk to the trucking company about what their insurance covers.
