m husband was involved in a tractor trailer accident 5 years ago. He was the driver and his tire blew out on snow and ice. He was unconscious for over 24 hours with a severe head injury. four months after the accident he developed grand mal seizures. He is on medication for the rest of his life and will eventually need a liver transplant because of the meds the neurologist put him on. He also developed a speech impediment. The companys' lawyer represented him back then and all they did was pay the medical bill at the time. Is there any chance for compensation? The accident happened in Illinois, the company is out of Indiana and we are now living in Florida.
