What is the name of your state? South Carolina

I have posted earlier and your answers have been great. From what you know, can an uninsured motorist who has wrecked someone else's car make an avadavid stating he or she will take full liability and financial responsbility away from the owner of the vehicle? Can he call the insurance company of the person who he hit and have the responsbility taken from me, the owner of the car, and given to him? Is this entirely possible? Please advise me. The accident victim he hit has State Farm and I have State Auto.

Your insurance covers your CAR, regardless of who's driving it (unless the driver is specifically excluded). Why wouldn't you want your insurance to pay? I don't believe you can be charged for an at-fault accident unless you were the driver but even if you can, the accident will go on your record whether you file the claim or not. You are still responsible for letting this person drive your car. The other driver won't be able to file under uninsured motorist because your car is insured.
