I have a painting business. I was doing a job for a landlord who has a duplex home. An old woman ( a tennant) tripped and fell over one of my drop cloths while I was there working.
She knew I was there, and the cloths were down to protect the rug ( being used for normal paint procedure). Could she sue me for this? I can not see how i could have prevented it. People walk on my drop cloths everyday without a problem.
