truck vs bicycle accident

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Georgia

My daughter was hit by a Fed Ex truck while on a bicycle. The driver of the truck was ticketed. Fed Ex has said they will pay all medical expenses. She sustained a broken finger, a totaled bicycle, Dr. visits, missed some work, etc. We wondered what a fair settlement would be for her in regards to an amount added for pain and suffering to the basic expenses incurred?

You will likely hear this over and over, but you really should consult an attorney in your area before you or your daughter accept any settlements or proceed against FedEx's insurance company.

There are many factors to consider in these circumstances.
