What is the name of your state? OK
I hired a Nevada livestock hauler to haul a mare from my state to another state 700 miles away. Trucker took twice as long as he said he would, horse flipped out and had to be destroyed at destination. On the way, the hauler stopped at his girlfriend's house for horse advice and a sleep over. Vet at the destination cut the foal out of the mare to try to save it but it died (after 3,000+ vet bill). I did not sign a contract but their web site advertized 'fully insured'. They won't answer my e-mails or phone calls. Their insurer tells me that the horse is not covered. At this point I doubt the co was licensed. What can I do?
