trying to sell uninsured motorcycle

What is the name of your state? PA
We are trying to sell a motorcycle that my husband bought a couple of years ago. He hardly used it so we dropped it from our insurance, and it's been in our garage ever since. We are trying to sell it and we are trying to figure out how to let potential buyers test drive it since it is uninsured. Any advice would be appreciated. We don't really want to pay all the money to start the policy again when we'll probably only have the bike for a few more weeks at most.
Thanks,
Alison

I think your taking a HUGE risk by doing this. I would call your insurance company and ask them what you should do. Do not take a chance here.

Let them drive it on private property.

If they drive it on a publc highway, you could be cited for it. The fine is $300 plus costs and a 90 day driver's license suspension.

I'd get it insured for a few weeks, then cancel the coverage. It shouldn't be a "huge amount" to do this as you said since the charges will be pro-rated according to how long the policy is active for.
