Uninsured not at fault...

What is the name of your state? Tennessee
I was in a car accident today and need help as soon as possible! I am uninsured right now because of financial situations, but I was not at fault in the accident. The other driver admitted to being at fault. He was on my side of the road as we were going around a curve. I was told that there is a law saying that if you are uninsured, then you are automatically at fault. Is this true? And what's going to happen here??

Nope, not true. The at fault party is still liable for your losses. But when the state finds out that you were driving uninsured, and the insurance company will let them know, you will probably have your driving privileges suspended and will require an SR-22 filing to get it back.
