My 1994 Honda CBR900RR motorcycle was stolen. I have had full coverage on the bike since I bought it new. Two years ago the bike was totaled. Insurance paid and I fixed the bike. I kept full coverage on the bike, the insurance co. has allowed me to do so. Now that the bike has been stolen they will only pay me salvage.
The only proof I have that I repaired the bike are dated photos. The co. will not accept these. They say if I can prove I repaired the bike they will pay fair market value. I do not have any other proof. While I appreciate their position, they took my money every month and provided coverage (at least on paper).
Do I have any recourse? I really just want to replace my bike.
