Vehicle Towed Liability

What is the name of your state? MN

Here is the sequence of events

1) I have an old car. car had problems. AAA towed it to a dealership who asked me a lot of money for just looking into the problem

2) I said No, thanks but they would not release the car till paid $55

3) I raised a case with Bette Business Bureau, and then carelessly did not follow through (I guess I had mentally junked the car off). The case was eventually closed becuase I did not respond

4) the dealership called a "transport & recovery" place. They are asking me lots of money ($25/d) for storage. Current bill is $225

What are my options ?

By your own admission, you failed to follow through and junked the car off. Either let it go or pay the storage fees!

Fair Enough. In fact I am willing to pay towing ($35) + fees to junk the car ($50). I am willing to pay $85-to- $100 to get rid of the car

BUT these guys want $250+ (towing +storage +admi fees etc etc.). And $25 per every additional day. (storage fees). I dont want to pay that because this is just silly

My question is: if these guys dont agree to $85 or $100 to close this matter , and I am not willing to pay $250+..could I be in future trouble ? I dont want to be forced by a small claims judge to pay $3000 for this car

Thanks

And that may just happen. The ONLY issue here is that you have been put 'on notice' that your car is incurring daily storage fees. And though you may not have been 'noticed' previously, you have now.
Your ONLY recourse is to pay them the money and remove the car. Then, if you feel you were 'done wrong', you can pursue your claim in court. Simply ignoring the issue and letting the fees accrue further is getting you deeper into a potential huge and expensive problem.

There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!
