i was in an accident that was the other drivers fault-he failed to yeild at an unmarked.anyway, my insurance Farmers, is dropping us. well, our vehcle is totaled,but a friend suggested that we switch insurance companies before they drop us. we have no vehicle and need no insurance, but don't want our record to say we were dropped. what should we do?insure the totalled truck or just drop them before they drop us. also, having spoken to aaa insurance they suggested my partner get insurance by himself ( i will never drive a car again) but said i have to give up my liscence since we are in the same house-this sound wrong to me. is it? thanks
