I was at a stop sign on the way to work when someone took a turn and drove into me head on. The police report finds them at fault. It is still unsure if my vehicle is totalled or not. I am in a collar b/c the pain in my neck is so bad. No medication seems to help. The doctors don't think there is anything but soft tissue damage. I am a teacher and bend over all day, but now the pain is too great. Should I only expect to get compensated for my car, medical expenses, and rental, or can compensation be rewarded for pain/ suffering, or possibility that this "soft tissue damage" may turn out to be a dibilitating injury?

My response:

We'd like to assist you; however, you apparently didn't see that red writing up at the top of the page. Without your State name, or the name of the State where the problem happened, it would be difficult to assist you. Laws are different everywhere.

Thank you for your cooperation, and we look forward to you editing your post.

P.S. We also need to know if yours is a No-Fault or Tort insurance State.

Correction IAAL, the writer is from the State of Confusion. Not a not your fault State but a Tortellini State.
