State: Alabama.... Wife and daughter injuried in head on collision (other party at fault, entirely in wife's lane). Injuries: whiplash, bruises on head/face. bruises and knots on knees. sore wrist, possible concussion(wife), blurred vision (temporary only). Wife was stopped waiting to make turn. Other car went entirely in her lane and hit head on going approx 50 mph. Knocked Astro Van back about 12 feet. Air bags nor seat belts worked. I know "other person's" insurance will cover repair, rent a car, medical bills. Is there anything else. Its been 4 weeks and wife's neck still hurts. Still has one appt left with opthomalogist. How should we negotiate with insurance adjuster? Also does anyone know, are you entitled to compensation for the loss of trade in value on vehicle with new paint and over $5000.00 of repair??? Thanks
