My GF had an accident, following too close. She went to pre-trial today and at the beginning they were handing out $135 and 5 day jail susp. sent., at the beginning of the session, torward the end, where she was,they jumped it up to $380 / 180 day susp. sent.
To say the least. Well to figure things out, she pleaded not guilty.
I am trying to find out...
1) Is that fine normal?
2) Can she change her plea later and pay the fine? If so, without being raked over the coals.
3) Anyone know of where I can get more info on the fine possiblities?
