yesterday, i went to court for a careless driving ticket. When i got there i had to talk to the DA were they offered me a plea bargain of driving with improper head lamps (1 point) 15.00-100.00 fine. But, what will the insurents company see? wont they see it was a careless driving ticket (4 points)? I really feel that i didnt even commit careless driving... the cop wasnt even there but anyways should i talk to a lawyar and my insurance company or would that just tip them off? i ahve 30 days to make up my mind.

The insurance company will see whatever your conviction says. Accept the plea.
