What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Virginia

OK Lets try this again I posted once and did not get one single reply so I am trying it again ...
In Sept. my daughther and I were rearended at a stop light at 50 mph we both suffered muscle soreness and whiplash she was affected for approx 3 weeks and I was affected for about 6 weeks. The driver of the other car was ticketed for wreckless driving. Our total medical bills were about 5,000 dollars, my car was totaled. She missed out on several school days and she missed out on tryouts for a sport she wanted to take. I am self employed and had to hire someone to do my physical work for 4 or 5 days... My suffering was very painful and it affected my work for a good 6 weeks.

**A: let's see car was going 50, 3 weeks affected plus 6 weeks=9 weeks, $5000 in medical bills, missed say 4 days of school, hiring replacement for 5 days and suffered pain for 6 weeks...... 50X3 divided by 9...ok, a fair settlemt would be $12,762 not including attorney fees. When you hire a PI attorney, compare my figure to his/hers.

You forgot to add in the 'rearend' quotion which would adversely affect the tangent and cotangent variables.

**A: quotient not applicable unless the driver was a real butthead.

what do you mean by that, the other driver was a teenage boy with 4 teenage girls in the car and was obviously not paying attention to his driving at all

Ahhhh, then that would bring into play the age-delineation curve. Now, the question to ask is are the combined ages of one car more or less than that of the other car and if so, on which side of the curve does the affected car fall?

Whoopee you got whiplash. If the medical bills are all from a chiro and not a neurologist expect less than 100% payment on them, as well as very little f/ pain and suffering. Chiro's always over-treat and this can easily be proved.

No insurance lottery winner here.

Like I said I did not see a chiro I saw my doctor who sent me to a specialist who did an MRI, I WAS NOT OVERTREATED!

You'll get some money it's just hard to say f/ sure on this forum. Medical bills need to be reviewed, medical history, as well as backround checks, need to be done. We obviously can't do that here. I wouldn't expect much. If I were to take a GUESS, it MIGHT be $500 to $1000 apiece on top if your meds being paid.

You said you were treating f/ 6 and 3 weeks respectively. With whom were you treating?

Go back and read this entire thread. Then answer this question.

How much should a personal injury claim be worth if the person seeking the action was on his/her way to a job interview, had just purchased new clothes for the said interview and had just had a $100 haircut that was ruined because the emergency room nurse had to save his/her head to stitch the wound which was 4 inches long, jagged and will cause the patient unbearable headaches for the foreseeable future?

Let's cut to the chase here. Writer, you need to be talking to a personal injury attorney.
