Who owns the car???

What is the name of your state? PA
I bought a car off of a "friend" for $500, but i never recieved the title. Now she is saying i owe her $150 still and that she is going to come and take the car because she still has the title. On my vehicle registration the purchase date is 6-6-03, the registration date is 4-5-04, taxes paid are $30.00 which is the 6 percent sales tax in PA. Who is the owner and can she come and take it?

If she sold you the car, but hasn't turned over the title, that may be considered a form of auto theft in your state. If you have a bill of sale, this will strengthen your case. Call the police IMMEDIATELY and report the mess.
